Punjab Green Tractor Scheme balloting in october 2012

Chief Minister of Punjab has introduced Green Tractor Scheme in Punjab in which 10000 lucky persons will get Tractors on subsidized rates. Punjab Agriculture department receives 257000 applications for draw  and 40000 applications has dismissed. Agriculture department has complete arrangements to give 10000 Tractors on subsidized rates to farmers in 36 districts of Kasur.

Yesterday all delegations of agriculture departments from 36 districts were called in agriculture house and taught them about computerized lucky draw of Green Tractor.According to recourse person,on 1 oct 2012, 10000 lucky persons from 257000 candidates will get Tractors on 200000 rs subsidy rate on each tractor.

According to recourse person, for the acquisition of tractors Punjab Government receives 257000 applications from which 40000 application has been rejected due to different causes. For district Lahore, cota of 799 tractors has been declared whereas from district Lahore 1700 applications has been received.Similarly for Gujranwala,222 tractors has been declared and 10 applications has received.In district Multan, 125 tractors extra according to received applications. Director genrel Doctor Anjam Ali said that from which districts,we received less application from the quantity of tractors,that tractors will be divided to other districts on equality bases.
