Human Rights Day 2012

 

In this article we will discuss the importance and significance of December 10th Human Rights Day. The issue of human rights has not only attracted media attention, but has also become a subject of controversy in many countries like America, China, India and Pakistan. Human rights have no boundaries and every class of people should be given equal rights and opportunities.

On this special day i-e December-2 Human Rights Day many conferences and seminars have been arranged in order to create awareness among people regarding human rights and every person should know his/her rights. Moreover, Human Rights Day arranged on order to recognizes the basic principles of human rights. This day is celebrated all over the world on 10th December.

The commemoration of this day was initiated on 1950 when the General Assembly of United States Of America invited all the states and many organizations in order to celebrate this day. This day is normally marked by many political conferences and conduct meetings and different cultural events in order to deal with various human rights issues. Furthermore, many governmental and non-governmental organizations active in the field of human rights and also arrange many events in order to commemorate the day.

On the whole, as we stated earlier that human rights have no boundaries. Is not the denial of bread to the poor a violation of human rights? One should ponder all these different aspects of human rights before becoming their vociferous champion.
