Ghazal King Mehdi Hassan Died In Karachi at the age of 84, One could not ignore the hit ghazals of Mehdi Hassan like “Patta Patta, Boota Boota” and ” Kab Ke Bichre”, He has a magical voice due to which has a millions of fans not only in Pakistan But also in India. Mehdi Hassan was admitted to Agha Khan Hospital in Karachi on Tuesday and just after a day on Wednesday he passes away.
This news was confirmed by the Son of Mehdi Hassan he added that “My father has been ill for the last 12 years but this year, his condition has deteriorated significantly and in the last one month, he was released from hospital for just one day before being admitted again.My father passed away at 12:22 PM after a long battle against different ailments”. Mehdi Hassan was suffering from many diseases from the past many years like Lungs, chest and urinary tract ailments.

He was a son of the traditional musicians family at Luna Village in Rajastan and was born on 1927. His first music teacher was his father Ustad Azeem khan and his uncle Ustad Ismail Khan and under the guidance of these two great musicians he started to perform at very young age.
In the early he worked very hard he first work in a bicycle shop in Chichawatni and then a car and tractor mechanic. Then the fortune of Mehdi Hassan changed and he get a chance to sing on radio Pakistan in 1957 and sang in more than 365 films. At the time of partition in 1947 Mehdi Hassan’s family moved to the Pakistan and his passion for music did not comes to an end so he kept the routine practice on a daily basis. He get Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, pride of performance and Hilal-e-Imtiaz from the government of Pakistan, not only awards from Pakistan but also Gorkha Dakshina Bahu by the government of Nepal.
