10% Increase Pakistan Defense Budget 2012 – 13

Let us put a brief highlight on one of the most significant feature of budget The Defense. Every country has an appropriate need in order to set up its defense requirements. In order to set up the defense industry the industrial development plays an important role.

The capital is said to be the life blood of the production. As Pakistan is still in a state to face the circumstances of wars so in the Pakistan Federal Budget 2012 – 2013 adequate amount has been offered the defense sector of Pakistan.

The government has fixed an amount of Rs.3205.2 million out of which Rs70 million will be reserved for Benazir Income Support. Moreover, huge amount is given for Arm races and stringer missiles for fighting against the rivals and enemies in the warring ground.

In the last budget a very less amount was allocated for the defense industry due to which our country remains backward. As last year the salaries were low therefore the purchasing power of militants in defense was also low which leads to the emergence of the limited market.

At the end this is a very much necessitated in the presence of our existing geo-political situation where we have to face severe hostility by our neighbors. Therefore our dependence on other countries for the sake of ammunition and war weapons may put our integrity at stake.
