66th India Independence Day Celebrations

Independence is one of the most significant days in a life of a country, the day on which they achieved the freedom. This day deserves to be celebrated with enthusiasm, patriotism and with extreme passion. The celebration of independence includes the singing of national anthem, rising of flags on commercial, government and residential places, feasting and paying tribute to those who have sacrifices in the cause of independence. On the 15^th August, 2012 which will be on Wednesday; India will be observing their 66^th Independence Day, and fro that respective purpose planning and events are being organized to commemorate the very special day.

The Day will start from the capital of the state New Delhi, where the President and the Prime Minister will attend the flag hoisting ceremony. National anthem will be played and the flag will be raised, after which both the government official will present the Independence speech. It is to be expected that thousands of people will observe and witness the day live at the venue. National parades will also be a very special part of this celebration it is when all the national agencies including the army, air force, navy and the police will march past in front of the people and the officials and will show their art, weapons and energetic performances.

This is the major celebration which will take place on the 15^th of August, but beside it there will be thousands of celebration conducted all the over the country and even all over the world. In the other countries the Indian community will celebrate the day by gathering at a single point, natioanl anthem will be played and the flag will be raised and after which the people will share sweets and hugs and congratulate each other on this very eve occasion. In India people raise flags on their houses, roads and streets are decorated with the three colors which are the part of their flag and with it concerts are being arranged in which the national songs and the patriotic songs are being sung with great passion, so through this they demonstrate their love for their beloved country.

A very unique celebration is being done on the boarder of India where thousands of people come to witness the charm and eagerness of the army. The most entertaining parade and celebration is being done on the Wagha border between Pakistan and India where the people of both the countries gather to celebrate each other’s independence. So the entire day the celebration are taken placed and after the end of the day the ceremonies are being closed by the folding of flags as the flag which were raised are being brought down and folded again this concludes the independence celebration.
