Competitive Exams Results

 

Competitive exams include two major exams such as CSS examination and PMS/PCS examination. CSS examinations are conducted for hiring people in order to serve the civil services in Pakistan. Candidate age should between 21-28 years for applying for CSS exams. Moreover, this competitive exam is conducted during the months of November and December once in a year. Furthermore, Federal Public Service Commission of Pakistan decides the examination dates. For CSS exam, candidate should know that six subjects are compulsory such as essay, English, everyday science, current affairs, Pakistan affairs and Islamiyat. Apart from compulsory subjects, candidate should select six optional subjects and each optional subject includes 100 marks.

Secondly, competitive exam is PMS/PCS. PMS also has known as Provincial Management Services and PCS also known as Punjab Civil Services. These exams are organized by Provincial Public Service Commission. There is no specific and particular date for PMS/PCS exams. Examinations are held per vacancies. In Punjab province, these exams are conducted under the guidance and control of Punjab public Service Commission. In PCS exams, candidates should know that six subjects are compulsory and candidates should take 3 optional subjects.

The syllabus includes optional as well as compulsory subjects. In additionally, the candidate age should between 21-28 years and candidate should get the graduation degree from any reputable and recognized university. Candidates should get 33 marks in written paper and 500 marks in interview. Finally, we can say that these are two important competitive exams in Pakistan.
